Very tasty food. Close to the water and city. Good service and good choices. Recommendes for a romantic lunch or a special event.

We visited China Doll for my birthday in March and it was an outstanding experience. The ambience is lively yet relaxed, and the location on the water at Woolloomooloo wharf is gorgeous. We ordered lots of dim sums, which were all full of flavour and so delicious! For mains we shared the Lemongrass Blue Eye w Sago Pearl and Green Mango, XO Scallops w Silken Egg Dashi, Tea Smoked Duck w Tamarind & Plum and the Crispy Pork Belly w Chilli Caramel & Nam Pla Phrik. The highlight for me was definitely the pork belly! Perfectly cooked with a rich, sticky sauce. We also had the small dessert platter which is a trio of three of their desserts, also delicious! Cocktails were amazing, and service was great even though they accidentally missed the chicken main that we ordered, they were apologetic and offered to have it cooked and brought out straightaway, but we were way too full! Highly recommend a visit to China Doll!

We were extremely excited to dine here however we were let down by pretty ordinary food considering the premium prices you pay on the wharf. Whilst it was completely terrible it definitely was below average for a chinese meal.

We went there for lunch and we loved it. We had smoked duck, grill pork belly and some vegies and had ice cream for dessert. The mango was just mouth-watering. We loved the food and staff. Good value for money and the place has great view.

Great view! Awesome food! Cocktails are just amazing! .make sure to order the slow cooked beef shin curry, and the black rice, mango and ice cream for dessert. The setting is ideal, looking over the city skyline for lunch or dinner. The wait staff, are very professional, without stiffness or attitude. it was fabulous and we will return on our next visit for another China Doll experience.

I think this is one of my favorite restaurants in Sydney. China Doll, is all round the best dining in Sydney. The food is always outstanding...make sure to order the slow cooked beef shin curry, and the black rice, mango and ice cream for dessert. Every dish is fresh and well flavored, the service is impeccable and the drinks are great. It's not a cheap place to eat but you feel like you are getting value for money. Should give it a go.

We had the banquet here which was delicious. I couldn't find fault with any course. Tasty panang, perfectly cooked beef, beautiful crab salad.... Cocktails are amazing also

good food, friendly waiters, fairly reasonable price, what else can you ask of a restaurant. should try the omelet with mushroom and crab in XO sauce. it is huge serving and very tasty.
