My partner and I haven't had our wedding yet, but so far so good! Deborah has been very helpful with all the planning and has good attention to detail. The cost is really cheap, we are having 90 adults and 12 children at $104 per head (Melba package) and everything is included! Lots of places get you when they say it's only $80 per head, but in the fine print it doesn't mention that centrepieces, chair covers, sashes and alcohol aren't included! Here, the only things we are organising on our own is bonbonierre, flowers, photographer & videographer, DJ/band and the celebrant. If you're looking for a really great package deal with no fuss, and at a good price, GET MARRIED HERE! Also, the chapel has wedding bells :D

I have been to this venue a couple of times for weddings. Unfortunately, the first time they were excavating the car park so it was a bit messy but this didn't seem to deter what fantastic services were in the Reception Centre.

The second time I went for a Wedding all was great. I especially love the little old fashioned chapel which is located on the premises.

I'm so glad that the team at Chateau Wyuna took care of everything on our big day! As you can imagine I was not in a position to be clock watching every 5 minutes so I was relieved to have the girls guide us every step of the night according to schedule.
As for the food- Wow! Our guests are still going on about the delicious entree' of spinach & ricotta canelloni and we absolutely loved the crumbed chicken for mains!
The convenience of the venue played a big part for our out-of-town guests. They were able to find it with ease and make their way to the accommodaton next door with little fuss.
The venue building was perfect for a wedding with such character and charm! And the gardens made for a stunning back drop to our photos.

I would highly reccommend this venue to anyone who is wanting excellent service and quality at an affordable price.

Although we have not yet had our wedding - the staff have been so helpful. They have answered all our questions via email very quickly and have given us a lot of advice and recommendations on suppliers past weddings have used.
The prices per head are very competitive.
The grounds are absolutely stunning all year round and the chapel is very cute.
There are several different places on the grounds you can have your ceremony and the chapel is always set up so if whether doesn't permit you can go in there.
I am very excited to be having my wedding here.

We had our wedding Reception at Chateau Wyuna, and everything was perfect. The staff do everything they can to make it perfect for you. We had an amazing live show, The Australian Kylie Show, (Kylie Minogue tribute show), and the staff catered for all the needs of the band and dancers. Food great too :)

Approximate cost: $104 per person

Chateau Wyuna lived up to my expectations big time!!! I had heard great things and I wasn't disappointed. We had to have our ceremony in the Chapel because the weather wasn't great, but fortunately it cleared in time for photos all around their grounds. The staff were great right from the start, especially with planning all the details in advance. On the day I could not have asked for more - the staff were excellent, they kept the drinks flowing, and the food was really good too! Nothing was too much trouble for them. And most importantly, everyone keeps telling me what a great time they had at our wedding. Great memories!

Our wedding at Chateau Wyuna in January was unfortunately not as great as other reviews. Meetings prior to our wedding were all good, however a number of things on the day did not meet our expectations.

1. We were the second wedding on the day. When booking we were assured that start times are staggered (4pm then 6pm) so no two weddings should meet. This was far from our experience. When our guests started to arrive, the wedding before us and their guests were still on the grounds out the front of the chapel taking photographs. This led to much confusion as there was otherwise no other meeting place organised for our guests to wait.

2. The function room we chose (Treetop Room) held a 60th birthday prior to our wedding. This function did not finish until 4pm and were still packing up when the groom and groomsmen arrived at 5pm to put our own personal touches to the room. There were also 60th decorations left on the floor for our wedding reception that were missed when cleaning.

3. We opted to pay the additional $3.50 per chair to have them covered and decorated with coloured sashes. The colours we chose at our meeting were not the colours used on the day. When we questioned this after our wedding we were informed that a different-to-normal stockist had been used and therefore colours could not be matched. At a total cost of $210 this is unacceptable and should have been raised with us before the wedding.

4. Not enough food was served at our cocktail reception. After pressing many guests following our wedding most informed us they were very hungry. And it was not just them, I as the bride got very little food and was very hungry all night. We also paid an extra $2.50 per head for an extra food item so food should have been ample. Other issues included cold food items (rice paper rolls and semi dried tomato tartlet) being served hot. In general, of the variety of food items we selected most people did not get to try even one of everything. A young, inexperienced waitress also assured me an item I was biting into was vegetarian, which it was not. This is extremely poor service

5. We arranged our speeches for approx 9:30pm, by which time the first wedding in the downstairs room ought to have finished and left the premises at 9pm. This was not the case and their music was very loud during our speeches.

6. The toilets for both functions were downstairs and shared. We found out after our wedding that the female toilets were very untidy, used paper towel overflowing in waste baskets and no toilet paper in the toilets, leaving guests to have to take paper towel from the sink area into the toilet with them.

We wrote to Andrew at Chateau Wyuna after our wedding to raise the above issues which let us down. He apologised and assured us our experience was not the norm. This does not however change our experience. Of course we had a lovely wedding thanks to wonderful family and friends. The Chateau grounds/gardens are gorgeous, everyone loved the chapel. There is ample parking. The function rooms are somewhat dated and could do with a reno however this is probably one of the reasons this venue is cheaper than most. Overall on paper this venue is great value for money, but from our experience the food was far from satisfactory.

In order to avoid the issues we encountered I would only recommend the Chateau if you book it exclusively or if you are the first wedding. They did not succeed running two large functions on the same day for our wedding and being the last function we feel we were the ones to lose out. Our MC Holly though did a great job given the lack of staff available to cater for two functions. She was pleasant and helpful all night in spite of overall bad conditions.

Approximate cost: $Cocktail reception $70 per head

These guys are so well priced and look after you. The packages they offer are affordable and if planned during the week, your wedding can be held there for 40 adult guests at around $3300 including entree main dessert as well as alcohol and so on. Vanessa looked after us on our day and was MC. She did such an amazing job!

Had my wedding at Chateau Wyuna in September 2007 and we were planning it with 3 months ahead. They helped us out so much specially since we wanted it outside in front of the small waterfall and under 40 people and with a dog in our wedding!! They helped out so much that the wait staff were feeding the dog while she had to stay outside.....it was funny, Andrew came up and told us and we said it's ok. They let us take all the scraps that were just going to get thrown out home for my dog!! They were so great. It was a dream come true on my wedding day...I couldn't have asked for more.

Approximate cost: $2000+
