6 reviews about Char Char Yiros West End

The meat is juicy and tender, the salad is quite fresh and the bread is soft. So they do pretty good yiros.
Only complaint is that there isn't enough meat in the yiros. Considering that, it's a little overpriced.

Seriously amazing Greek food! I had a dinner plate with marinated meat, salad, haloumi and chips and it was seriously amazing. The food is very tasty and the portion sizes are big so you get a lot for your money. The restaurant is also byo so you can enjoy your meal with a nice wine and enjoy the West End atmosphere. I would recommend this place to everyone, and I have!

Approximate cost: $18 for a large plate!

I love this place for their Haloumi rolls. Really great meat as well-which is what they are known for really. I have found over the years the size seems to have gone down-less filling in the rolls and the prices have gone up. I dont feel the value for money is there anymore. Its a fast food atmosphere with restaurant prices.

I have been to Char Char on quite a few occasions now and we always seem to order the platters because they are so good. It's a Greek place that is both take away and dine in. It's casual dining so has a really relaxed atmosphere. The platters we order come with chicken and lamb that have been slow cooked over charcoal, Greek salad, hot pita bread and dips, grilled haloumi and thick hand cut chips, the perfect Greek feast! Being greek myself I know good greek food and this is REALLY good. The portions are very generous too, the platter for 4 is easily enough for 5-6 people. The only downside is that it can quite hard to get a carpark in this very busy part of West End.

Approximate cost: $12 +
