If you haven't been here you don't know what you are missing! American themed, always super friendly, they will greet you and wish you fairwell every time.
You most definitely need to try the New York Fries!
This little American restaurant is tucked out of the way in a residential area but it certainly delivers. They have one of the best cheeseburgers in Brisbane, simple but oh so tasty and when paired with their NY fries it's a perfect meal. They also have great ribs and a good range of US soft drinks. Their wings are decent but their are better places for wings, however hard pressed to find a better cheeseburger or fries.

Got takeaway from these guys on a recent saturday night. The place was packed full of young people and it had an authentic casual american diner vibe.
We ordered a Carolina pack and a chicken burger. The Carolina pack was probably enough food for 2 reasonably hungry people and included bbq ribs, wings and new york fries. The ribs (must order bbq sauce on these) and wings were the highlight - a lot of yummy, unhealthy food. On the other hand, the fries were a bit lacklustre. The chicken burger did the job but definitely far from the best I've ever tasted.
If you're into quantity over quality and comfort food, then check it out.

I gave these guys a try today, and was a little disappointed, to be honest. The food was pretty good, but it didn't really scream American to me - if anything it was more of an Australian interpretation of American dishes. I had the Chilli Dog, New York Fries and some corn bread. The chilli itself seemed lacking flavour, which was a little disappointing - it was almost like a spaghetti sauce. The fries were pretty good. And you can't really go wrong with corn bread.
The service was friendly, but a little slow, and the food seemed to take longer to get onto the table than I would have expected, considering the place wasn't exactly busy. Also, counter staff playing around on a cell phone while in view of customers isn't exactly a good look, especially when the store phone is ringing.
Maybe I should have gone for the ribs and Buffalo wings, instead. I'm not sure I'll be back.
good review, pity they aren't as good as they sound
OMG. It's like I was transported thousands of miles to the over the top cholesterol capital of the world. The food was delicious, I took the kids and we feasted big time. Hot wings were my downfall and the coleslaw was delicious. I had the key lime pie for dessert (a personal obsession, I make my own and am always up for a new resipe) and it was good... not as good as others. The kids shared a massive sundae. It was an experience that I wanted to give them but we all agreed that Australian cuisine is better
Do you want to live the American dream? (Well at least food wise...) this is the place for you. They serve the most ahhhmazing BBq ribs and hot wings, Moorish sides like cornbread, potato salad and chilli cheese fries! With homemade pies like cherry pie, key lime or pumpkin pies u will thinku stepped into America. Everything is sooo delish you will want to eat it all. ;)

My daughter and I watched Masterchef when they were in New York so I'll have to take her there so she can get more of a feeling for it. Thankyou and great writing.
