Stopped off mid afternoon (3pm) in Hamilton for a bit to eat. We parked outside the Caledonian Hotel for some food. All they had to offer us was alcohol or nuts. The older man behind the bar seemed surprised that we wanted food before 6pm & told us they only serve food at lunch time 12pm or dinner time 6pm. At least they could have coffee & pastries or cakes on offer. Golden Arches got our money. But they didn’t mine if we wanted an alcoholic beverage at 3pm. We won’t be going back there. We didn’t feel like galavanting the town, as we had a schedule to stick to.

been there a few times, good portions of food size and tasty stuff for the money paid, recommended, band plays on saturday, drinks are cheap as well. well recommended for people to try out once in a while

called in here for a few drinks with some friends very popular venue we found as it was very busy had a great atmosphere inside took a while to be served as was very busy so the service wasnt the best reasonable prices on most drinks overall did have a great evening here playing pool and haveing a few drinks cheers

This is one of the better bars in Hamilton and I find most of my friends come here the most. I'd says it's mostly because of the "Pub" atmosphere and it's mainly focused on friends meeting and having a good time which happens a lot! There's great ambiance and you can have a game of pool which is a lot of fun!
