I rang this practice and waited 45 minutes for my call to be answered
When finally reception answered it’s like nil care factor we are busy?
I have never waited this long by any medical practice?
Training needs to be enforced

Phoned to make an enquiry.... First got put on hold, which I don't mind, I understand they're busy.
After 7 minutes on hold, my call was answered.... I asked my question, then was told "I'll put you on hold".
After another 4 minutes a different female answered, so again I asked my question.
This time I was rudely told that "I'm new here so I don't know, and I'm too busy to talk to you" she then put the phone down!!!
What has happened to the service here? The staff nowadays couldn't care less about their patients....management seriously need to review the training of new staff.
I'm currently suffering severe depression, I'm very lucky that my partner was here with me because this 'none caring' attitude could've pushed me, and ended badly!! Instead of feeling that the staff were there to help, I felt they didn't care one iota, and felt isolated and alone.
After 10 years of loyalty to Cairns Family Medical Centre, I think it may be time for me to go elsewhere... Very disappointed.
