Went there today 5th June 2021. Whilst the food was lovely the old guy walking around was not. Rude as. If you want return customers then you need to change your attitude.

Great breakfast buffet on offer at 12.90 enough choice to satisfy even the fussy members of the family :) Every thing was fresh and well cooked I often frequent Primo's when I have friends or family down.

Spent a day at Victor Harbor yesterday, and decided to eat at Caffe Primo as they are pretty good in Adelaide and at least it's under cover and family friendly. We ordered main meals and kids meals and usually get pancakes for the main meals. Issue is the day was a long one and hoped the pancakes could be ordered once the main meals come out and never have an issue with this at other Primo stores. Unfortunately the lady was adamant the main meals had to be finished before we could order, which really was delaying our drive back to Adelaide. Then to top it off in the kids meal(penne bolognese) she discovered a foreign substance in the dish. When we observed, we assumed it to be cooked egg yolk. The child was not feeling to well after eating most of the dish nd we quizzed the waitress. The response was, oh the kitchen use the hot water they boil their eggs to then boil the pasta(ie recycled water), and terribly sorry. No word of compensation or worry the child may have had an allergy to egg yolk etc. So never ever would go there again and hope others are wary of their practices.

Hi BarryBac, thanks for yet another impressively written review! We remain utterly gob-smacked that any restaurant would undertake such a practice (an actual health and safety risk to be precise) let alone openly confess to it. In addition to the ‘allergy’ concern, one must also consider contamination of avian fecal matter. While we can think of various adjectives to describe the afore-mentioned business, they fail to adequately describe the magnitude of such an ignorant and uneducated practice. Reeces

caffe primo was an ok business, but as for their meals, they were very small for the price we were paying, and as my partner is a decent sized eater he was unimpressed also
