Poor attention to detail, average food

So disappointing. I did not get what I ordered with two of my items. Salad where I specifically asked for no onion was full of raw onion. The waitress called out "special salad with no onion" when she delivered, and I took a bite before I realised. Still regretting it! I asked for the vegie brekkie with no egg as I'm allergic to them. It arrived with eggs. Argh! They need more attention to detail. Prices are a bit steep for quality of food. GF bread was also much too dry. Please try a bit harder! When I provided feedback, they just shrugged and didn't seem concerned.

Bravo do decent food, but for the price, you can get a much better experience elsewhere! The place is loud and echoey, and if you ask the waiter for something, like a glass of water, they will tell you that it is all self service - even if it's a quiet time of day. (I would understand if it were busy!). My partner and I were left wondering what we were paying for. Premium prices usually give you premium service!

The food, too, is good but not great. I would put it a step above marcellinas pizza or something of similar price range.

If I were booking for an event or for a dinner with friends, I would choose somewhere quieter with more personal service.

I haven't been here many times, but when I have, the cafe has always been busy and full of happy diners. The staff members were very friendly and great at accommodating to my vegetarian needs; willing to change some dishes around to make them vego but still worth the money. I've had the pizza a lot, I think it's my favourite and would definitely reccommend.

We went to this place for breakfast after it was recommended to us by a friend. We sat outside which was pleasant and interesting watching all the going's on. You had to line up for quite a while to order food which was frustrating as I was sitting outside by myself for quite a while my husband ordered. The food took a while to come out and we were both dissapointed. I ordered eggs benedict and rather than a muffin it came on a dry bread roll which I couldn't eat as it wasn't nice at all. My husband wasn't impressed with his food either. It wasn't bad but wasn't worth going there for.

I have been here 7-8 times; it's never my choice to come here but alway's someone else's. At Cafe Bravo it's always fairly busy.

I'll start with the things I don't enjoy: you have to wait in line to order food, then go stand in another line to order drinks which you then ferry to the table yourself. The dishes are all quite pricey for a simple cafe where you have to do all your own service - I think these prices are what you'd expect in a full service restaraunt.

There's a lot of items on the menu and they all always come out nearly identical if you order something a couple visits in a row. It feels like factory food to me and I now just stick to ordering from the focaccias as the least offensive dishes. When it's packed it is ridiculously loud inside. I think I just prefer more intimate settings when doing the cafe/dining thing.

I've never noticed the service being fantastic, nor has it been really bad - just totally unremarkable. Staff don't seem to smile, they're just there going through the motions.

I think maybe I am missing something about the cafe - the only good points I can think of are that it's in a great location on the corner, central to many shops, and is an easy landmark to meet people at. Plus kudos to them for being around for a long time.

Met friends there for coffee and cake last week and quite enjoyed the experience. Coffee was good and the cake was great. Prices were reasonable and service great as well

I had 10 kids and 12 adults for my son's 4th birthday party and nothing was too much trouble. Pre-ordered pizzas and asked for them to be ready at a certain time - they were delivered quickly and were delicious. They allowed me to put up some balloons and lay out some party decorations. I dropped off the cake before the event, and they brought it out as soon as I asked for it. Had to place drinks order at a counter and collect ourselves but they were made quickly and the waitress assisted in carrying them to the table. They did not complain about the inevitable mess. Excellent experience.

This is a great example of a cafe for mine. Excellent food - pasta, pizza and some mains, great service and a bright vibrant atmosphere. Enough tables so there usually isn't too much trouble getting in, but I have never been in there when it has been dead quiet. Very popular "catch up for a glass of wine" spot. PS - try the margarita pizza...YUM!!!

Good restaurant but food could have been better. Staff are lovely but bar service could have quicker.

Good atmosphere, and I like the variety of food options available. This is a place I like to come for catchups with a friend for coffee or a lunch. Thanks WOMOW - via a review I decided to try it.
