This place is right near where I work and can get very busy during the lunch hour. I'll only come here if I can manage an extra half and hour or so during my lunch break since you end up having to wait a while for food! I love the ambiance and the interior styling in here; dark old world glamor. The food here is great and moderately priced at that. I always end up ordering a vegetarian lunch box mainly for the $18 price tag.

Head down from the office to Cafe Vue for lunch quite often. My favorite is the sausage roll (not your typical one). I had one of the sandwiches once and sadly the entire thing was just bread, but fresh bread non the least! The only let down to this cute little cafe is the staff. While being the only customers seated outside we asked for water and an ashtray numerous times, and we ended up finishing our meal without either items.

Approximate cost: $25

The food and drinks are outstanding. The creativity, flavours, are all of top quality and unique. I have been to several cocktail nights here which they have every Friday evening and change the menu monthly. The only thing that needs improving I think is the portion size, (which to me) was a bit on the small side. I think they should also offer bread, butter with the cocktail evenings. i really enjoyed my experience here. Call ahead to book Their website shows you the menu they will be serving. They can also adapt your allergies, food dislikes. They also do amazing pastries, lunch boxes. Not a great deal of parking opportunities in the area though.

Finally I have tried the Cafe vue.. I went there with my Uni friends.. we went there for breakfast.. I ordered coffee (Latte) and Duck egg & Andrew"s choice bacon jaffle.. the coffee was good.. however, I was so surprise with the portion of the food.. It was very tiny for $12.50.. I might or might not go back there..

We've heard so many good things about this place and decided to give it a try. We all ordered the $15 lunch box because that was one of the cheapest option and value for money. As it turned out the lunch box was tiny. We got 2 tiny cucumber sticks with a small dip, half a tiny sandwich and one tiny espresso cup sized chicken soup. We were shocked at the size and had to go Mcdonalds afterwards because we were starving.

Approximate cost: $15

I have tried lunch from here. I really loved it. But, the servings are quite small. Then, I felt like having lunch there few weeks down the track, and it didn't taste the same. But, I love the setting and the location and the service was very good.

Approximate cost: $15 to 20

Decided to try lunch here based on the reputation/name as well as the $15 lunch box. It can be a bit hit and miss as it changes all the time(meaning you can always come back for something different). However, the servings are quite small and not enough for lunch considering you are paying $15. Overall it was just an average experience.

Really nice cafe ambience and it's part of the original Vue De Monde. Lovely cakes, coffee, furniture, menu ideas.
Lunch box for $15 is a great idea, but it's not that filling and it's a hit and miss on taste. The burger is always good though, as are the pies.

Approximate cost: $15
