One of the better restaurant's, the menu is very large, we went on a Friday night and it was packed, service was good but it seemed like they were a bit understaffed. We had vegetables with stir fry seafood, honey chicken, special fried rice and the roast duck. Overall it is a tasty restaurant that is not over prices but some of the food tastes a little bit bland.

This place is right next door to ying chow chinese restaurant and often has some steep competition. However the meals are brought out quickly and are delicious. They have an extensive menu and the decor inside is lovely. You also get complimentary prawn crackers!

Sat outside, nice service, greeted at the door...food came out separately which was a bit annoying however tasted ok. Overall seemed a little dirty and not much atmosphere. Good for the price though, I agree if you want a cheap meal on Gouger its a winner.

Approximate cost: $13.00

went here to check it out after reading reviews off WOMOW. it is an average chinese restuarant. more of a casual, relaxed atmosphere. the dishes are average, but the value is reasonable. would recommend it to uni students.

They're there when you need them, they're there when you don't.
But expect a decent meal if you do. Not saying they're better than any other Chinese restaurant, but you can be guaranteed the food will be of a consistent quality.
Also a good place for a nightcap. We've come here on occasion for the late night congee

I had Yum Cha for lunch and happy with the quality of food and the shop has live seafood so my son can have a look at lobster, fish, mudcrab. At least find somethings to entertain kids while u enjoy eating. The place was a bit pack and not much room to move around. Otherwise it was perfect.

Atmosphere there is ok, nothing fantastic.
The food is average, not something that you would really want to enjoy and relax and have a good meal.
Wide variety of food.

Authentic Chinese food and yes, that means some of it might seem a bit weird to you but it is so darn good. I had salt and pepper eggplant with chilli and spring onions; tofu and shitake mushrooms with snowpeas and bamboo; and fried rice. I wanted to lick the plate! The place isn't much to look at but the owner is always there and remembers her customers and treats them well.

The always "How about Kowloon?" is always in a sentence somewhere when heading out for dinner.. Although the food was better a couple of years ago but still it's a good place to hang out with friends enjoying a meal

Approximate cost: $11.80
