Lovely coffee and warm friendly service. Easy location too just on Centre road in Bentleigh

Lovely friendly service here. They always greet you warmly with a smile, even when it's really busy. I've also always been really impressed with the coffee!

The coffee is good here. Nice and hot and I like the blend they use. Friendly staff and service is good even when busy. I haven't tried any of the food so can't comment on that. Great location :-)

Came here with friends. I just had coffee, which was good, but my friends ate. They thought it was just ok but the prices are quite steep for what it is. Like $12 for porridge or muesli, is expensive for a basic coffee place. Overall ordinary food at very high prices.

Toilets have no soap in them. Advised waitress and told to just use water. Hmmm.

The breakfast menu is great - good value. The hollandaise sauce is one of the best around. I usually order from the breakfast menu as the serves on the lunch menu are generally way too big for me to eat at lunch time - but if there are 2 of you sharing is the way to go. Have improved their service and food a lot over the last couple of years which is great.

My husband and I had lunch here on the weekend while shopping along Centre Rd. The place was REALLY busy when we got there, so we figured it must be good. We were seated quite quickly by a friendly waitress. There is a lot to choose from on the menu so it took us a while to decide. You have to place your order at the counter and pay in advance, which is annoying because it deters you from ordering more as you go. It was fine on this occasion as we only wanted a quick lunch.

The lunch rush had started to clear soon after we had arrived, but the meal still took quite a long while to get to us (long after we finished the drinks we had also ordered). We were starting to get a little antsy, but when the food did finally arrive we were really happy with it. My husband's Club Sandwich was fresh and hot, and a really good size (very filling!) My chicken risotto was delicious! It was also fresh and hot, cooked perfectly (not mushy!) and the chicken was delicious. We were both really happy with our meals and so we ordered takeaway coffees before we left (coffees were OK; not bad but not fantastic)

For the cost of the meals, the quality is very good. They could probably speed up their service a little, or at least tell customers if there is a delay.

We would consider going back again if we're in the area.

Have been here a few times for coffee and although it's not very consistent it has been pretty good on the whole. It looks a bit cafeteria-like to me but for a quick cuppa it does the job.

Oh dear. Coffee was beyond average and my hot chocolate was undrinkable. I quite literally left the entire thing and no one asked if there was a problem.

I love the whole "El Fresco" atmosphere of this place, there's not really a door or window, so it's like sitting in the street, having coffee! The coffee usually takes a while because it is busy, but the coffee tastes delicious and real. They have a nice menu of food to choose from, if it weren't always such a busy place I would be eating here a lot more often!
