I've been here a few times & it was always a good spot to drop into for a quick cheap meal. Today however, they must have been having a bad day or I was. It wasn't busy, about a third full but the waiters were shocking, very slow & sloppy. I asked if they had a specific side order to go with my main & was told they didn't have it. As soon as I had finished my meal a waiter brought out that side order (they didn't have) to the table next to me. The waiter just shrugged when I asked him about it.
Food was ok - heated hotpot with pre-cooked meat & gravy on top. Chilli was an extra 60 cents.
I'll go back one day but I'm in no hurry. There are better places to eat in this complex.

Approximate cost: $13

Yes the quality is touch and go. Sometimes the food is good but mostly it is bad. The waiters are terrible and service is horrendous too. Had similar experiences with this place. Have not been back again.

It's a shame they didn't have enough to go around for the food on the menu. At least the food is relatively cheap.

This place has really great food! I love coming here because the particular style of food is really good, it's distinctly Asian, but very Western food, which I definitely enjoy. The service is a little stilted if you don't speak Chinese, but overall it is very good, prompt and efficient. It isn't very expensive either, making this place a great impromptu meet-up destination.

This restaurant's food is absolutely delicious. I ordered some fried egg noodles with beef, and it was the best I have ever tasted. The service was prompt and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely visit again.

Very cheap feed, averages out around $8 per person. Most of the food is quite good and the quality is consistent, although definitely not the best. Their breakfast and afternoon tea meals are quite good value, although the options on the menu aren't the most exciting- the meals come with a drink though, and they sometimes do a good HK style milk tea. The noodles with beef brisket for breakfast is quite good. Service is terrible most of the time, especially as it's quite busy and the waiters/waitresses are running around like crazy, but I guess most customers are used to it.

Approximate cost: $8

Service was prompt, portions were generous, prices were good. Overall a good feed! Congee needed a bit of salt, kang kong was too salty. Egg noodles was not bad.

Not a great store. I waited about 15 minutes for the menu to come and after that, another 20 minutes for a waiter to come and take our order. After that we waited an entire half an hour for our food to come. It was a busy day but come on! The food when it arrived was sloppily made and presented and the taste was not at all good. The prices could've gotten me much better food and service at another place. Disappointed.

This is a very bad example of a Hong Kong/Canton restaurant.
Despite the unclean cultery sometimes we have received, I once found a human hair mixing together with spaghetti noodles, the staff apologized to us last time, since then we seldom visit.
We went there tonite for dinner with couple of friends and thinking might be give it another try. Once again I received poor service & a very bad experience.
The presentation of our food were very poor and it is bordering on a rip off for the price they charge. We ordered steak with rice in pepper sauce. We basically received 2 piece of steak bone with barely meat attached. The rice was also really dried out and the pepper sauce was way to thick to call it a sauce.
And they weren't even apologetic about it, one staff was yelling at me with a grin whilst I was trying to bring the matter to a person who is in charge.
The whole experience was totally disappointing that I certainly wont be recommending this restaurant and will not be visiting again.
There is a much better places in Eastwood and Chatswood.

I come eat when I'm too lazy to cook so I'm not expecting top quality food and service. If you're looking for cheap eat then this is the place to be. Love their "Baked Pork Chop Rice". When I order stir fry noodles I try to ask for less oily (sometimes they ignore the request but most of the time food comes out good). Hong Kong style milk tea is only so so...

Approximate cost: $~$12

It'd be good if they didn't ignore your request. I hate oily food too.

It is good value for money and the serving size is reasonable, but don't expect big size. The place is always busy and normally we have to wait for 15 min.

Approximate cost: $8

Authentic enough Hong Kong Style cafe. Reasonable price and lately renovated for a bit cleaner and neater seating. But the service can be a bit offensive and not much patience from the waiter. I hope it was just a bad day for the staff

I agree about the service... rather shocking when they are busy!
