I was greeted with a smile and have a chat and come out with some positive energy to face the day and a very good long black!

Came here for a breakfast with the family. We were taken to a table straightaway because the restaurant was not very busy at the time. I ordered smashed avo on toast with poached eggs. It was OK, nothing special. I also ordered hot chocolate- it tasted like one of those sachet hot chocolate powder- very sweet and watery.

I had a late breakfast here with my sister-in-law. All in all, it was pretty average. The waitress was a little slow and didn't seem very interested in being at work. I tried the corn fritters, which are topped with smashed avocado, smoked salmon and poached eggs. I thought it was nice but there was nothing outstanding about the flavour or the ingredients. My sister-in-law had the eggs benedict, but she didn't mention whether she loved it or not. Beverages were okay, the coffee was nothing outstanding. The prices were about par with cafe breakfasts in the area; again, about average. It wasn't very busy so we were able to hang around for a while and chat without feeling pressured to leave, so that was a plus. They don't split bills, so if you're dining with friends keep that in mind.

Service here is always a bit slow but the food is pretty good and it's a nice place for a night out. I have been here for breakfast but prefer it as a lunch and dinner place. It is also in the entertainment book so that's always a bonus.

Approximate cost: $19

With a group of four we had dinner here one busy Saturday night. Fortunately the full restaurant did not effect a prompt service. Food was delicious, I had the vegetarian risotto and we shared cakes for dessert (the lemon tart was great). Not the quietest place with tables quite close together, but I would definitely go back.

Found a great place to sit and chat over dinner with friends. Its a bit noisy but really friendly and serves great food. The corkage charge seemed a bit steep, but still cheaper than buying by the glass, and it wasn't worth getting worried over. The souvlaki platter was great value and would easily do for two light meals if you were on a budget.

Approximate cost: $20

This is a favourite spot for breakfast when I am staying on this side of Melbourne. The servings are generous and the food is delicious. The staff are friendly and prices are very good value.

Last year the food was much more interesting. The food was good but not as tasty or interesting since they changed their menu. They have pizza now and before their was more unusual items on their menu. Had to ask for the menu after about a 10 minute wait but after this the service was good.

Approximate cost: $25.00

I have two words to say...Breakfast bruschetta. This fantastic twist on a savoury staple has us coming back for more. Have only had breakfast here, but that doesn't mean that wont change. Staff are friendle and the atmosphere relaxed
