Took my wife for a coffee on a Friday afternoon - it was about 4.30 and when ordering, only coffee, was told we are closing in 15 minutes. I was a little disappointed in the attitude - if your doors are open and you have food and drink available then don't rush paying customers. We probably wouldn't have been 15 minutes but felt like it was give me your money and get out as quickly as possible. I would have preferred to be told sorry we are in the process of cleaning up at the end of our day.

I went here recently with a friend for lunch. As I was not overly hungry, I just ordered a serve of banana bread and a coffee. They brought out her lunch and completely forgot my food order. When I queried, it finally arrived and was burnt. I didn't want to send it back, so ate part of it. The coffee was good though. However, the service and value for $ isn't there. I would try it again on a less busy day to see if the service improved because the food looked great.

Nice place to visit for a coffee and cake. Close to the water near Manly harbour and this area has a village atmosphere. Check out the glass cabinet for the latest cakes on offer as well as wraps and quiches. Friendly service with a smile.

Some better customer service would have been nice. Let's hope this is not the norm for their staff, it will cost them alot of business.
I too have experienced the "we are closing in 15 minutes" but took it to mean the choice was mine if I decided not to place an order rather than be offended.
