Haven't been to this cafe for a while and after today's visit, we won't be back. It seems to have changed hands as the menu was completely different and the standard of food much lower than when we last visited.

For breakfast, I ordered the sweet potato cake with smoked salmon. Quite pricey at $19 given what was served up. The potato cake was burnt. My sister ordered raisin toast which was thinly sliced; just a supermarket brand. A rip off at $7.

We both ordered pots of tea. There were too many tea leaves in the pot so it was overbrewed, bitter & too strong. When I requested a pot of hot water to dilute it, I was told I'd be charged for it. Given I had already spent $30 on breakfast, I thought this was rather mean. After much deliberation, the manager decided to give me a pot without charge. There was hardly anyone at the cafe (now we know why!) so it wasn't like they were overrun with tea drinkers and needed all available pots. This isn't the way to win repeat customers.

I go to a lot of cafes in the Inner West. This place will not survive if this is the service and quality of food that is served up. A very disappointing experience! We won't be returning.

We got some takeaway from here to eat over in the park and it was great! Serving size for the price was good too as we were expecting it to be really expensive as they are the only place selling food near the park.

We had so much food we ended up taking some home. Pretty good variety of wraps, burgers, fish, chips, wedges, kids meals etc. They also have a range of cakes and slices, coffees, milkshakes and smoothies etc.

Oh, it sounds lovely! Especially nice to hear about how well priced it is! Win!

Was a bit disappointed with this cafe. We booked in advance for the High Tea but when we arrived there was no table ready for us. Service was slow and as the seating is outside there were a lot of flies around. Would not recommend this cafe for a High Tea but it would be fine for a coffee.

I love coming to this lovely cafe on a warm sunny day. The park is beautiful, the food excellent, the chocolate sin cake amazing, and the coffee good.

I had a wonderful Sunday afternoon experience with my mother at this fun relaxing park location. Our food was lovely, plentiful, and tasted fabulous. Coffee was great with an amazing chocolate sin cake for dessert. There's choice for seating - quietly overlook a pretty green park or watch little ones play in the nearby park or even giggle at the bicycle for two from the bicycle rentals next door. Take the kids and let them run or rent a bike while mum gets a hot coffee sitting in the sun or shade - or mum can go for a ride too! One of the best afternoon memories with my mother - we voted the dessert the best ever! Highly recommend :)

I had my baby shower here and we had high tea! awesome! I didnt realise they did hightea until we booked and they suggested it as the best way to eat. They werent wrong, great value and far more than we could eat. I would recommend it to anyone.

Nice cafe in a great setting for kids but everytime I go there the service can be a bit more friendlier. Food is nice and the out door setting is nice.
