Service is relaxed but you get looked after. Food is delicious. Came with 2 kids and managed ok. Just ask for reduced chilli. A great opportunity to expand kids food experiences.

Very cultural place. If you want to get yourself to be more aware of Ethiopian culture, you need not travel there.. Go to Lalibela.. The food has a very distinctive taste that may not be to everyone's liking.. If you have a Sour tooth, you will love Ethiopian cuisine.. Saying that Lalibela offers more than food, it offers experiential dining and is worth the visit.. Try one dish with your friends first. If you like it, order more.. If you don't, just enjoy the unique experience.

This was Footscrays best kept secret until The Herald Sun kept giving it rave reviews, now you have to book well in advance to get a table. Great Ethiopian food. The owner is a really laid back happy man, be prepared to wait a little while, things are slow - but worth the wait. Go with friends and share the food - eating it all with your hands!

Approximate cost: $15
