Beautifil view of the ocean. Food was above average and service was excellent. Highly recommend

Took Family from Melboure here for dinner and what can i say this place really out does an amazing meal. we all order the fish and it was perfect the salad that came with it had a really nice dressing on it... The views sitting out the deck are amazing and you feel like you are on a ship. the staff are always to quick and friendly.

I love this restaurant it's so beautifull, i come here everytime i'm in townsville for their salmon eggs benedict, its large and hearty so i can never finish it all. Highly recommend, the staff are great very professional. Would be great for a business lunch or birthday dinner

Had dinner there with friends. Again (I've had many evening and lunch time meals there) the service and food quality was very good. I had the Beer Battered fish burger. The fish was cooked perfect, the presentation good and the time to wait quite short. As usual the staff are friendly and efficient. And of course the location is postcard picture perfect. Looking forward to going back there soon.

Unfortunately I ended up with food poisoning from dining at the C-Bar! My chicken ceasar salad consisted of raw chicken. I didn't realise until half way through so had eaten most of the salad - the raw chicken juices obviously leaked through the salad which I ate. I ended up experiencing severe stomach cramps; sweats; nausea and severe diarrhea. Not very nice at all. These symptoms also aggravated a pre-existing condition which I am still suffering with almost a week later!!!!
The cbar admitted fault at the time and did not charge me. However, upon being so sick I contacted them via email to describe the severity of my symptoms; but have not had any response: very disappointing all round. I will never return nor recommend this place to anyone!

I visit Townsville for work and we regularly go to the Cbar for breakfast. I can never decide what to have as their breakfasts all look divine. They're right on the water front so it's a lovely view. My favourite dish is corn cakes with crispy bacon, rocket, sour cream, parmesan, avocado and balsamic reduction. It's a restaurant to go to for a treat.
