Busy cafe offering great service, as well as food. Ambiance is excellent and one that is good.We went for a weekend breakfast is was very busy but the service was slick with no drop in quality.

The Butchers' block is a great local cafe - very popular and for good reason! They create delicious and inventive dishes with an extensive menu that incorporates sweet and savoury options. On busy days (weekends) there can be a wait list - but doesn't take too long! Very easy to find parking (parking lot behind or in surrounding streets). Service is friendly and accomodating!

The Butchers Block is a very popular cafe conveniently located in Wahroonga Village near the train station. There is lots of street parking nearby and a big car park behind.

You can almost always expect to have to wait for a table on weekends, and sometimes also on weekdays, although it's never too long.

They have a seating in a lovely sunlit room out the back which has a great atmosphere for breakfast or lunch. Service is always top notch - polite, friendly and smiling waiters and waitresses.

The food is amazing! Some of my breakfast favourites are the hotcakes, truffle eggs and the bruschetta. For lunch, they do delicious pastas and salads (look out for the pasta special which is always delicious). I would also very highly recommend the pear and cinnamon thickshake, which I just can't go past every time I visit.

Definitely one of the best cafes on the North Shore, and I can't wait to try The Butchers Apprentice just next door - a local fine dining experience by those who brought us the butchers block.

This is def our favourite cafe and it's not a wonder why. Plenty of waitstaff, super friendly, very accommodating. The atmosphere is always buzzing, the food is fantastic, the coffee excellent and a great choice on the menu - some healthy too for those who are conscious like me! George has done a brilliant job renovating the place and really wish him well - an asset to the neighbourhood!

Approximate cost: $25
