You can walk or catch the Jetty Train which is a great experience for the family, however bookings are recommended especially on a weekend. At the end of the jetty there is an underwater observatory which is fantastic for the kids. A must see if you are in this part of the world.

IT IS A GREAT PLACE you can take a walk alone it it is about 2km long there are fishing spots all along for a small fee wich goes towards the matnance for the jetty and at the start of the jetty there is a museum for you to look at for free
