Took my 4year old here to check what all the fuss was about, she loved it. Had a ball. Wasn't the cheapest thing but worth it when she loved doing it. Will come back. Not local to me but we made the special trip!!

Approximate cost: $10

this is the cutest shop ever, the biggest range of plush animals I have come across and the best thing is that you get to build them yourself, great for kids and adults, choose a bear or a horse or a monkey{we chose a monkey} stuff it, dress it, accessorize , give it a scent and a noise maker, give it a name, you get a little house to bring it home in, you also get a birth certificate, only downfall is this will cost you over $100, but as a treat its a great idea, the staff are also extremely friendly, and you can try on and play with all off the accessories

I took my daughter here for her birthday, it is a great place to go if you love stuffed animals, you choose a body get it stuffed than you can go crazy with clothes and accessories, you also get a birth certificate and a micro chip incase it gets lost, it is a bit pricey but worth the one time event

Approximate cost: $65.00

Treated my 8yr old daughter to a Build-A-Bear for her birthday recently. The concept is clever and very appealing to kids but thank goodness I had an online voucher to use because these bears and all of their accompanying accessories are not cheap. The naked bears start from $15 then you pay for a soundbyte to be inserted then pay for a costume (or two) to dress the bear in then pay for accessories such as underwear, socks, shoes, hats, handbags, sunglasses etc. Each bear gets its own birth certificate and ID code so that when you get the bear home you can participate in the online Bearville world which is also very clever and perpetuates the personalised bear experience. You could accidentally spend a lot of money here but it's all entirely up to you how much you fork out. They also host birthday parties instore. My daughter LOVES her bear!

Approximate cost: $50
