Susie and Cecilia were fantastic the way the collaborated their ideas. Provided a lot of suggestions and recommendations. My dress turned out better than I had imagined. They were professional and had great attention to details. There were some complexity involved around the cupping and lace but in the end it turned out amazing, not to mention the additional eye lash lace to the arm hole of the dress

I bought my dress online and loved the fabric and body of it however it needed a complete transformation with the sleeves, neckline and back. Susie and Cecelia worked wonders with their expert knowledge of fabric, attention to detail and amazing skills - they knew exactly what would work and what wouldn't. They listened to exactly what I was wanting and it has turned out perfectly, better than I imagined! You created such a beautiful dress for me, thank you. I got my wedding dress off rack in size 10 while I am only a 6. It is a simple taffeta strapless gown without any lace. As there is no lace to cover up, the alternation work has to be very dedicated. I first had an appointment with the wedding salon's tailor, their service I can only describe as "mass production manufacture", you go in, took quick brief measures then you are out. They didn't seem to care about what you want they just know better... Luckily I found Susie and Cecilia. They really listen to what I want, then explain to me what the process and results would be like. These two ladies were very patient, professional and caring for your most special day. With their magic works, my wedding dress suits me perfectly, no extra tape or anything need to be used. It is flawless and looks like was just made for me.

As with all brides I was hesitant to hand over my dress for alterations to anyone. After meeting with Susie and Celia, I was more than comfortable to part with it. I had lost a significant amount of weight and my fit & flare gown wasn't fitting very well! My dress was quite intricate with an inbuilt corset, boning through the front of the dress and a beautiful lace pattern. I had 4 fittings in total and even after continuing to lose weight they had no issues in continuing to make minor alterations along the way. I was very evident that my satisfaction with the dress was the utmost priority for Susie & Celia. I had so many comments about the way my dress fit me on the day, everyone thought I had it made for me, when it was a relatively cheap (by wedding dress standards!) off the rack dress, which because it fit so well, looked like a million dollars!! I would highly recommend. It was obviously came at a cost, of which Susie was upfront and clear on throughout the process. I believe that you pay for what get and if you are after quality, then Brides of Brighton will get the job done perfectly.

As soon as I met Susie and Cecilia, I trusted them with my dress. My dress had intricate hand sewn detail all over it, and it was also quite fitted. Before I found them I worried about letting anyone alter the dress. Susie and Cecilia made excellent suggestions for my dress and were most helpful when it came to setting appointment times. When I tried my dress on during our final appointment I couldn't be happier with their alterations. My dress looks flattering in my wedding photos and it fitted me perfectly on my big day thanks to their great work.

Working with Brides of Brighton to alter my mums wedding dress was a wonderful experience! Susie and Cecilia were skilful in modernising my 40 year old dress & making it look contemporary & classic. They were efficient & lovely - and I felt welcome from the very start. I hope I only get married once, but if I need another dress altered - Brides of Brighton is where I'll be headed!
