“I had a friend who needed help with a financial issue dating back to 2001, and who had been told by past solicitors that due to time lapse there was nothing she could do.
Being a retired Court Bailiff and Private Investigator I referred her to Solicitor Mark Smith who I knew to be perceptive and able to think outside the square. The opposing party proved to be devious and duplicitous using several different law firms in an attempt to evade payment of a substantial past debt. Mark was able to piece together the key issues and present a meticulous case with the matter proceeding from an initial agreement which was dishonoured, through to a court judgement, initiating a Writ to sell the debtors home, then defending an action by the defendant to have the judgement overturned. Mark assisted by his astute associate Sukriti Bhakti was able to defend our position and obtain a settlement which has now been satisfied. Mark and his team were patient but tenacious in handling our matter that took nearly two years to resolve.
