I paid for representation at a VCAT hearing and my solicitor turned up half an hour late for the appointed time. My case was heard without my representative there and, needless to say VCAT decision went against me. I contacted this company and asked for a refund of my $700 as I wasn't represented as agreed. I was told no - no refund because the solicitor did turn up on the day. How is that legal let alone fair!
