I have dined here three times on "Scoopon"-type vouchers. The dinner vouchers are for a 10 dish degustation, allowing diners to sample a variety of their menu. Having grown up on European food, including Hungarian food, I enjoy the similarities (and lament the differences) to the food of my childhood. Bondi Cosmo presents some very nice authentic hearty dishes and I recommend people purchase one of these voucher deals when they pop up (another was released only a week ago). Just be aware the dishes are carb-loaded (everything comes with potatoes, rice or noodles) and sour cream plays a starring role in Hungarian cuisine.

The restaurant itself is pretty small but cosy enough. It's a shame the smell of cigarette wafts in from the outdoor dining area. Also, don't believe any suggestion of this being in a nice beachside location. The beach is not near the restaurant and it is situated on a busy traffic-congested road. If you sit by a window expect to be gazing at buses and taxis.
