Elaine and her staff members took great care of my partners and I first home purchase.
They were professional, dedicated and very friendly. If something went wrong, they would have the matter fixed within minutes.
I will def be using this service again.

Bluebell assisted me with conveyancing on selling my property and on a property purchase. Given the line of work I am in it is very difficult for me to take time off to manage these things, so I needed someone to manage it for me. Bluebell kept me informed but basically did everything. What I didn't understand, they explained and just told me what I needed to do. They were fantastic! I highly recommend them as their work is great and the staff are amazing!!

Conveyancing on a property purchase. This is the third time I have used bluebell. They are always courteous and professional and, most importantly, thorough. They always get all the details right. I would highly recommend them.

Elaine ensured a complicated settlement went ahead. Even though the other parties made serious errors, Elaine and her team sorted out the mess to achieve an on time settlement.

Over the years we have bought and sold many properties across Australia and in my opinion Bluebell are by far the worst we have ever encountered. We found them argumentative and not stepping up to take responsibility when things went wrong, causing us lots of stress over an extended period that we didn't need.

First major issue was we were given a list of bank cheques to be made out for settlement, went to the bank and to my total embarrassment they did not add up, the bank and myself sorted it out and corrected the error in the documentation I was given – when I contacted Bluebell we did not even get a sorry for the mistake from them only attitude.

Next issue was they agreed to registered post the title dead to us, (which is NOT part of the service they offer – you have to turn up at their office to get your title deed, hope you don't live too far away as we do interstate.) the registered item was lost for 30 days in the Australia Post network, but it finally turned up. Bluebell advised us at one stage to engage a lawyer to chase it up, but as anyone knows who has used registered post only the sender can enquire or claim against lost items, so being told to engage a lawyer at our expense would only have been a waste of time effort and money. I would like to close this review with a comment we received from them, which I feel is quite mutual - “We request in future you no longer contact our office and we hold our rights to not act for you in relation to any other matters in the future.” (Don't worry we won't be back – and you the potential customer have been warned.)

Dear Susan
We were sorry to read your views regarding our firm. We did all that we could to try to ensure your satisfaction. We pride ourselves on prompt, friendly and highly professional service and that has brought us many repeat clients over the years.
It is unfortunate that there were some circumstances in your case that were not entirely in under our control. We are reluctant to post titles due to the risk of them getting lost and always warn all our clients of that risk. It is costly to lose a title and there is always the risk of it being used fraudulently if it falls in to the wrong hands. This is why posting titles is “not part of the service we offer”. It is a complimentary part of our service to retain a title deed in our secure storage for collection at a later date by the client or a trusted person that they nominate. We posted your title to you on your insistence and hence, our worst fears were realised when the title went missing through Australia Post. Thankfully title was recovered after some weeks.

Further, minor discrepancies in calculating figures occurs all the time in this industry, but as you stated above, it was sorted our without much fuss, loss or delay. We are glad that your matter was eventually finalised without too much complication and without any loss to you. Delays and penalties and are unfortunately common in this industry due to sloppy and irresponsible conveyancing, though we can say with confidence and pride that this did not occur in your case or in the case of many satisfied Bluebell clients in the past.

Yes there were errors in the calculating of the bank cheques – the main issue here is you never said sorry or apologised in any way – it came across to us that you just didn't care and it was ok to do this.
Yes the registered letter did turn up finally – thankfully for all concerned. But when it looked like the property deed may have to be replaced (because it wasn't insured for its replacement cost.) your emails in my opinion became very aggressive when I approached the Victorian Consumer Affairs asking who is responsible to replace the document. At that stage you advised us to engage a lawyer to take up our case. Is this the way Bluebell handles these situations – court proceedings ??

Unfortunately there has been a huge misinterpretation in your translation of events and the error in cheques directed to you and of which your are referring to was only .08 cents which was omitted in one cheque directed to you, of which we offered to pay as 10 cents on your behalf in reassurance to your accusations that this is neither a legal error nor an issue to be concerned about as we ensured the cheque directions were delivered to you in the evening before you arrived to Melbourne to once again make it easier for you as you do not live in the state of Victoria and you were only coming for one day.
In relation to the Australia Post losing your title during transition of delivery even though it was Registered Post as per your instructions to do so of which we attended to at our cost and the extra to add the person to person delivery to insure that this was delivered to you in person, we attempted to the best of our ability to call the Australia Post Manager everyday and ensure that the Post Office investigated this matter as a matter of urgency and priority.
In relation to our advice of engaging a local lawyer closer to where you reside in NSW was only suggested as a response to your email in relation to attending to a lost Title Application not to a court proceedings.
Once again we are happy that Australia Post located your Title and completed your delivery.
It is unfortunate that you feel that it is Bluebell Conveyancing who is the responsible party in relation to the Registered Post envelope.
Here at Bluebell Conveyancing we pride ourselves on our many satisfied clients who return and refer and engage our services to family and friends.
Nevertheless all the staff at Bluebell Conveyancing thank you for your testimonial and would like to wish you all the very best.

My husband and I chose Bluebell whilst in transit at Singapore airport on a whirlwind purchase the day before leaving for an overseas trip. We literally chose from the reviews on this site. We bought an apartment off the plan in Melbourne VIC, and two years later - we have settled this morning with absolutely no probs at all. Elaine and her team have been nothing but helpful and their correspondance has been great, they girls have answered all of my questions, and we have had a seamless process from start to finish. Competitive pricing and excellent service to match. I would not hesitate in recommending them and would use them again in the future.

Elaine and her team took care of all the legal details of me buying my first home. The whole experience was very nerve wracking for me, but Elaine set my mind at rest on a number of occasions. She also put me in touch with a fantastic mortgage broker who managed to get me a much better deal than the one I was going to settle for.

I will certainly be recommending Bluebell to my friends who are looking to buy in the near future.
