nice and cheap, nothing flashy, decent indonesian food given it's value
service was okay liked the fact that the food arrived quickly though, and that even though we were the only ones there (it was a bit later at night) we weren't pestered or anything by the staff
This little place is always packed with students and workers during lunch hor. It's great for a quick and no fuss lunch. The foods are decent, but pretty average. There are much better indonesian places. The dishes are lacking in spices and heat compared to the real, authentic indonesian foods. This could be due to them trying to suit the australian taste bud or maybe them trying to save money on spices.
I went to this place 2 years ago and yeah I agree with you, the food doesn't quite match the original one that you eat in Indonesia, well but it's quite good for those who miss the Indonesian food.
Good food (Indonesian Food) - I always had the nasi goreng .. Love nasi goreng (Fried Rice) .. Lovely service from the staff .. Great for value...
the restaurant is taste of Indonesia cuisines. its pecel lele ( fish dish) is quite nice and also ayam balado (chicken dish).
authentic indo food.the balado fish was the winner. well marinated and fried to perfection, the sauce was a little lacking though. the gado gado is really not worth a try. not much tecnique and effort can be seen as all i could taste was only peanut butter. but the resy of the dishes was good
Approximate cost: $15
