Blackburn Animal Hospital has been treating my four legged companions now for 17 years and have shown themselves to care deeply for those they treat. I've yet to see an animal balk at coming in, each is greeted individually, and it's obvious that the individual care is continued even when taken into the back rooms. The vets and nursing staff are all very professional and knowledgeable

I've been using this vet for about 13 years now and am always amazed at the personal and friendly way they greet each customer and their pets. I've yet to see any animal that is terrified to come into the place.

Very happy with the care my two 12 year old cats have recieved here over the past 5 years. One has kidney deasease & the other has been deaf his whole life so we are a regular every few months at this vet. They have called me a few times to see how they are doing and offered advise. At one stage early this year i was having trouble with administering my cats medication myself so they did it for me free of charge and taught me new techniques to handle my cat until I was able to maintain treatment myself. Suzanne is extreamly knowledgeable in Medicines and quite often when i have brought in my kidney cat she will descuss with me treatment ideas she thinks may beifit my cat that she has learned at the last conference she attended or medical review she has read.. I have complete confidence in her as a Vet.

These guys are great! My dog had kennel cough something sone vets drug off but these vets were great! Receptionist was a bit rude but the understanding gets made me feel like my baby was in good hands. They even called off their own backs to make sure she was doing ok. Highly recommend!

I was so happy taking my dog to get desexed here - the staff are so caring and like to make sure you are happy and are explained everything they have done for your pet. Also they put a bandana on my dog after her surgery and that was very cute! I've never got so much helpful aftercare support anywhere before. They are open convenient hours.

Approximate cost: $400+

We gave our 2 newborn kittens to this vet. They understood how upsetting it was to give them away, and then informed us they'd had all their shots and were then sold the next day and that one family had kids and one family was a single lady. They knew we were interested and also got our new kitten that we kept vaccinated and ready for us as well. Kind and caring.

Friendly, compassionate staff who genuinely care about our animals. Very thorough and knowledgeable about animal ailments, and offer excellent advice where needed. Our dogs don't mind going because they get liver treats.

Approximate cost: $80
