Discovered this place when going to see a touring band. I've walked up and down Brunswick St so many times, but never knew this place was there. Perfect cosy venue for a quiet chat with friends, views of the mall, great decor and staff that talk to you! Music venue is cosy and yet the loud band never burst our eardrums, so full marks to the sound system and PA. Could do with more beers on tap, but the one they had was delicious, and plenty of interesting bottles from the fridge. Try it for a quiet one someday and discover.

In terms of a place to spend a night out, this place is pretty much my idea of blissful. A darkened bar with nothing but a doorway in the Valley strip to enter up the stairs, if you like dancing to The Beatles, The Cure and The Doors, among others whilst drink delicious beverages such as mulled wine, you can stop looking.

Not only did this place endear me to it through alcohol, venue and music, I spoke to a bartender when I came in earlier in the night and enquired about the dance floor etc and mentioned it was my birthday. After we left for an hour or two and came back, he found me at the bar and presented me with a glass of mulled wine. It was fantastic. I can't wait to visit here again on a Friday night! I should also mention they put on gigs as well, and I'm not sure if they do much in terms of food, but I'm sure it would be divine.
