Very laid back decor and atmosphere. Felt like I was eating at a friends house with the relaxed vibe. Had the set menu with spicy calamari, wagyu beef salad for entree. Both cooked to perfection, salad wasnt drowned in dressing and added a nice companion to their proteins. Mains were the spicy pork sizzler and pan seared salmon. Again presentation was aesthetically pleasing and both dishes well cooked and full of flavour, love the crispy skin on the salmon to add texture. Desert consisted of creme brulee and mango sorbet, 3/3 for presentation again. Not overly sweet which is all i can ask. Would come again to try the other dishes!
Loved it. I'd say it is modern fusion korean that they serve here. But nothing weird.
My experience was highly enjoyable. The surrounds are tranquil despite the smallness of the place.
We started with a complimentary Soy bean soup with cubes of tofu and baby spinach leaves (a nice gesture). After that came my Bibim-bab with salmon & basa fish ($15). This was really good. Served in a large earthenware bowl, there were 2 medium sized fillets of salmon & basa fish, along with a poached egg, generous amounts of spring onion, enoki mushroom, carrots etc. My friends' meals looked equally delicious, beautiful and generous.
