Full of salt and processed meat. Labelled as BBQ beef rissoles. Don't know wich part of the cow was used. Don't want to know!

Be suspicious when meat is sold for less that $2.00. It is most definitely past it's used by date. These guys advertise 'great deals', but you need to question why these prices are so low. We open a bag of chicken drumsticks yesterday and the smell was horrific. They had only been purchased 24hrs prior. On closer inspection the leg/bone was going black....and the meat was grey and felt like slime was all over it. This is not the first time this has happened at Big Gun, last time is was pork fillet. This is most definitely a health violation and will make people very sick if they consume off meat.

The place is awesome,set up so you can find sauces in one section,veg in another,meat rubs so cool. Place was packed. We got chicken,rump,steaks,shanks. So far we had melt in your mouth slow cooked shanks one night,steaks another and the chicken is in the oven now with lemon stuffing. Smells good.
The guys are great ro talk to about cuts of meat etc. place is happy and bubbling. Love it

First visit today, left feeling great. We purchased chicken mini roasts, chicken steaks and chicken breasts amongst other items.

Got home about to cook the chicken mini roasts and there's several flies rolled inside them. I know they have olives but these were definitely flies. I washed them and they have wings.

Gave those to the dog and thought, ok, chicken steaks for dinner. They appear to have bedn hand ripped from the bird, they are full of holes and once they started cooking they smell and look really bad.

We thought we'd found a new regular meat shop but we won't be back and I do not recommend them.

I know flies might "occasionally" get into the cabinets where the meat is displayed but there's no excuse to have flies rolled inside the products.

I shop here often the prices cant be beaten the service is friendly, helppful and they take the time to give cooking or carving advice. they give pensioner discounts on their meats in addition to already dicounted prices. i love this shop. they have a few grocery items also not just meat.

We went here last weekend and was just going to get a few things. I left with 2 trollies full of meat. The prices where unbelieveable and the staff so friendly and helpful. With the specials that were the normal retail would have been $250.00 All it cost me was $54. I would have brought more except for the fact i wouldnt have had the room in my freezer. I would recommend these guys to everyone. They have great quality meat and great prices for the average family.

They are very helpful when asked about how to cook their products, which includes meatloaf. Their prices are competitive, and their meat looks and tastes fresh.

They keep their shop clean and if they are not open you can see that their window display is spotless, ready to be stocked. simply love em :)

I go there once a month to fill my freezer. They are a lot cheaper than the supermarkets over the whole range and are only too happy to cut the size piece of meat (gotta love a big juicy steak!) that you want. Service is excellent and the vegie shop next door has excellent quality and a very multicultural selection too. They sell Taro which you don't see in many places
