Decided to have dinner here as we were in the vicinity. It was a bonus that they had a Thursday night Buy 1 Get 1 Free meal promotion. Anyway, we were promptly seated and drinks order taken. After quite a while, I got up to approach a staff to ask if I had to order at the counter as no one seemed to coming back for our orders. He said that they would be at our table shortly, at they were.

So orders were taken and meals were served in decent time. We had garlic bread to start (it is served with some balsamic glaze, interesting). My partner had the BBQ pork ribs which he said was tasty, just not enough sauce. I had fish and chips and it was pretty good and not greasy. They used barramundi or some firm-fleshed fish which was great. Both meals were served with chips and salad. The salad had a nice tangy dressing on it.

When it came time to pay, we had to go to the counter. The staff at the counter seemed very flustered and took a long time to serve each customer. There was only 2-3 people ahead of me but I waited 10-15 mins till my turn. Somehow the person at the front of the queue took ages to order. The flustered cashier also didn't help the situation.

I initially thought i would visit again but the experience during payment time made me think "Nah, don't think I will bother driving here to dine". It's a pity as I think the food quality is pretty good and the prices very wallet-friendly.

Ambiance was ok and it looked like it was recently renovated.
