Regular of the Bender Bar, love the 2 for one pizza's on a Tuesday night and the quiz is great too. Perfect cosy courtyard for a drink in summer or winter (especially as they have a fire now!). Friendly staff, free live music.. brilliant local.
I had heard of this little piece of paradise before I arrived in Melbourne and un beknown to me when I rented my place...it was at the end of the street...crawling distance away.
Brothers, Andy and Christian make you feel at home and welcome, great atmosphere and just what I needed when looking for a local to have an ale after work. They have some great bands during the week and an open mic night and open decks nit on sundays....very relaxed and serve a nice cold RAVENS...hooked on this stuff, drop in several nights a week for one and to say g'day to the lads...thanks Bender Bar!
This place is all about the music: there is never a cover charge, and the atmosphere is intimate. Its a beautiful place to go hear a laid back band. There's even a cosy little courtyard out the back. The drinks are a tad pricey, but at least they're on tap!
