A fun place to go in Geelong full of all ages and all kinds of people. Friendly staff, good beers... An interesting place.

Have been to Beav's a couple of times. It could be a cool place but every time I have been, the staff have been unwelcoming. They do have some good live music though. Generally, not a place I like to return to.

Went for drinks after work and not many people there at all. A few came and went. Bar staff appeared uninterested and preferred to talk amongst themselves. Quite expensive drink prices too.

Approximate cost: $0

I love going to Beav's to have a drink or two with friends. Music is good, area is cosy and staff are lovely. Great place to meet new friends and get your boogie on without it getting to packed.

Beav's is one of the best bars in Geelong due to it's quirky style. I have been to a number of private functions in the separate room, and the staff assigned to the room have always been very friendly. They let you bring in your own food, even ordered in pizza! I have also been to see musicians in the private room. I have been one of few lucky people who scored a chair. There aren't many, and when the music gets mellow the audience end up sitting on the wooden floor. If I went again I would BYO cushion just in case. The gigs in this room have an awesome intimate feel. My fav was Tim Freedman. We got the chance to have a chat with him after the show too. The main bar often has a musician or duo playing. There are also other smaller rooms to sit and chat. Pretty cool venue.

such a cool, casual vibe, various different theme nights all week, the kind of place where you know the owners just from going there, because they really make an effort to be out there and chatting to everyone

Approximate cost: $20.00

I have been a loyal patron of Beav's since it first opened, because it wasn't a sports' bar, didn't have DJs and catered to mellow over 30's. I love the ambience, the quirky retro/vintage decor and the friendly vibe. Beav's is also open to all things artistic, without being snobby or artsy-fartsy. Just look at some of the paintings on the walls. Geelong needs more evening spots like Beav's, where people can be social, have a drink, a chat, listen to some live music, and still be able to sit in their comfy chairs.

Awesome chilled out place to go with friends. pretty average prices. Wednesday nights open mic is the best!

A great place to go with a few friends, or to host a party. The couches are so comfortable you'll want to stay all night! Often there is some acoustic live music, which really fits in well with the mood of the place. I especially love the strange painting and lights. It's well rad.
