At Beauty & the Bees here in Tasmania, we truly understand dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin- Jill Saunders began Beauty & the Bees in an effort to cure herself, using her grandmother’s old remedies, of disfiguring and chronic eczema/dry skin, and succeeded by using only trusted, pure, gentle food ingredients after experiencing the damage to skin caused by the harmful effects of petrochemical mineral oils and their synthetic derivatives present in most skincare products. Our focus is the customer. Our customers need to be provided with the best products that will not harm them, only help them.

Why did Beauty & the Bees select Tasmania as base of operations? The island’s abundant and natural ingredients, like the aromatic Leatherwood honey, which is unique to Tasmania. Tasmania’s cool climate also meant that potent, certified organic herbs would play a key role in the Beauty & the Bees range.

The products are fantastic, lovely to use and great value. It's fantastic to find beauty products that are free from chemicals and made in Australia. The dog shampoos don't leave the dogs smelling of strong perfumes and they leave the dogs clean well and easily rinse out. The service is also fantastic.

This little shop in the Centrepoint shopping complex in the middle of Hobart is lovely - they stock loads of handmade and even organic products such as soaps, lotions and other body products. They even have delicate products for the fragile skin of babies. So many things to choose from, and you know you're getting a quality product.
