Fairly standard price and fairly standard service, but the food is worth it. To be fair we have now learnt to order from home and then go get it as it does take a long time, but this can be excused as they are obviously getting everything ready fresh. The burgers are also really good here. Large, meaty old fashioned cafe/ takaway burgers at thier best in my opinion. I especially love the Johno, which is thier signature burger.

This Fish and chip shop is awesome, The food is great. The chips are decent and the price is extremly resonable. The shop is never too packed so waiting times are not too long. Have have been to this store many a time and the products have been the same with never being to burnt or never being to undercooked. Great for a family day dinner or maybe even a date near the water

I like the food at this place, but the workers aren always the happiest looking or approachable people in the world. Also for a fast food place, even when not overly busy, they are always so slowly. I also dislike how on public holidays if using your cards they charge a public holiday fee..

Good food, but the service could use a hurry up. We had to wait for a long time and ended up asking about our order twice before we got it. Each time they apologised, but it still isn't up to scratch. It's not that you are in a hurry, you would expect them to be better organised I think. We enjoyed the food, but it did take some of the enjoyment away having to wait so long.

Nice little place - been here once or twice for some chips and every time the chips have been nice and crispy!! Wait time wasn't phenomenal but never-the-less it was OK

A great place to grab lunch if you are having a picnic on the beaches of Scarborough. The chips can be great value and tasty one day and the next there can be half the amount of chips and very soggy

On a good day the chips are golden, crispy, delicious and of ample quantity - but on a bad day they are soggy and half the amount for value!

This is the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced! It was mothers' day so understandably it was chaos! Hubby ordered (1 burger, piece of fish & 2 serves chips) and was told they would be a 45min wait. No problem as they were up front and honest. So we went for a scenic drive. Came back in 45mins to be told that there was another 15min wait. Meanwhile there was numbers that were after us being called out and plenty of people comfortably eating their fish & chips. Then we were told after asking numerous times that there was a stuff up with orders blah blah & sorry for the additional wait. The staff were rude and the wow they gave us a free 1.25ltr coke for our troubles. If we wanted a 3 o'clock lunch then we'd ordered it at 3 o'clock. Then we'd opened our meals and there was hardly anything on the burger and the chips were pathetic. Looked like one serve to me!
Never returning here again, not even for a cold drink!!!!!

Best fish and chips on the peninsula. And their home made potato scallops are awesome. Ask for your chips cooked crunchy and they are cooked to perfection.
