I have used Alex Baxter as my plumber for 4 years now. He completed a total bathroom renovation for me (at a very reasonable price I might add) and has also regularly carried out maintenance plumbing work (mostly tree roots). Alex is good to work with because he genuinely cares about his customers. For example, whenever I have needed a plumber quickly. he has always made the effort to get there ASAP. I never have any problems contacting Alex - if he doesn't answer immediately then he always calls back promptly. Once something was still wrong with the plumbing after he left and he came back and fixed it without charging another callout fee even though it was not something that he was supposed to do on the original callout. And there have been other similar incidents over the four years that I have worked with him so yes I can say that he treats his customers very reasonably. Since we started using Alex we found that our drains needed cleaning much less frequently because he is so thorough. He maintains a polite and helpful attitude even if problems arise. For example, the tiler did something we were really unhappy about about during the renovation and Alex worked with us to resolve it. I read the other review about Baxter's Plumbing on this website and must say that I simply cannot imagine Alex speaking that way to anyone.
