Quite expensive considering the size and taste of foods. I only ever come to this place when starving and stuck at holmesglen area. I think this place survives only because this is the only indonesian place in the area. The most popular item at this place seemed to be the grilled chicken. Be prepared for a long wait though.
the food was just al right nothing fancy or anything. actually the meal price is bit too overpriced. probably wont go back there any more.
Approximate cost: $12
Heard some good things from friend so decided to have a try last weekend. Was a bit disappointed though because it was not as great as I thought. The grilled chicken was decent but not exceptional. I was a bit surprised when my bill came and was charged an extra $2.5 for plain rice. I honestly thought that the price on the menu has already included rice because usually one would expect Indonesian style grilled chicken to be served with rice anyway. The chillies that came with the chicken were nice and spicy just to my liking.
Approximate cost: $13
Some dishes like the Grilled Chicken and Spicy Fish are good, others like the Tahu Telur I did not like, theirs is wet like a soggy omelette, i think it depends on which part of Indonesia the dish is from, the one I was looking for has a light fried egg like a nest over tofu. Also do not order off the menu, the lady owner offered to do a fried vegetable and mushroom dish and that cost $18 which was not good value compared to menu items.
Approximate cost: $12
