Wonderful meals with an interesting variety. I am always surprised how good it is. Lots to chose from and fabulous steaks from the char grill.

This is a fabulous pub for catching up with friends as it is in the perfect location for everyone. Really like it here, open fires, plenty of seating, awesome food and very friendly staff.

Most recently I tried their paprika and mustard bread which we all thought was different and tasted great. Also tried their trio of dips served with flat bread, also delicious. For mains I once again ordered their Balhannah Burger and chips, once again, awesome. A few of my friends tried the fish and chips, you can add extra pieces of fish for around $3 each if you are extra hungry. The beef schnitzel was also popular amongst my friends. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, you could tell and everyones plates were empty, not a crumb.

A great pub with a real country feel.

We go there regularly with or without shopper dockets. The culinary pleasures are well worth a trip even if you don't live in the area. Very good value for money.

This Adelaide Hills Hotel has such a great country feel to it. Being the school holidays we decided to take the family here as we had some shop-a-dockets free meal deals, buy one get one free and you are allowed to use 3 dockets per table. What a bargain! Quite a large reasonably priced menu, which did make it hard to choose, but fish and chips, steak and schnitzel seem to be the regulars that we order. The servings are very generous so you really don't need a starter/entree unless you are really hungry. They have indoor/outdoor dining, all nicely set up and comfortable. The meals were delicious and we well definitely be returning again. A must try!!!!

This is another nice Adelaide Hills Hotel with a nice dining area. In winter big wood fires to keep you warm and provide a good feeling. Clean and friendly area with an extensive menu. If you are lucky enough to have a 2 for 1 shopper docket it is great value for a lunch or dinner outing

A very nice meal, in a very nice hotel. For pub food it was of a quite good standard. I tried the Chicken & Prosciutto Roulade which was delicious and is even suitable for those who have a gluten free diet. I saw one of their Balhannah Burgers ordered on the table next to ours and it was huge. Will have to try one of those next time! The service was quite good although it was quite busy when we went and sometimes it was hard to catch their attention. I would say a little more modern with a more interesting menu than your usual pub meal. An excellent selection and they recommend on the menu a wine to choose with every dish.

A lovely old fashioned hotel in a lovely country town. We booked for a Monday night and were very surprised at how busy it was - obviously very popular. We were served immediately and made to feel very welcome. A shared pate and Turkish bread plate arrived a short time after ordering. There was ample bread and it was all delicious. Steaks were brought to our table in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately my medium-well done was only medium-rare, but I shared the rare parts with my husband. The steaks were amazingly delicious. We will return.

Had lunch here with friends. The dining room was well patronized. The menu was extensive and there were many options if a gluten free meal was required. The meals were well presented but were not perfect. We had shopping dockets for 1 main meal free with another paid main meal. These were happily accepted by the staff.

Very good quality meals for a pub. They are often busy especially Monday to Thursday as they offer a 2 for 1 meal deal on the back of shopper dockets.

Beautiful old country pub with lots of charm. We've always had good service and the meals have been a treat.
