The Thai food at Bai Bua is pretty good and quite authentic. The menu is great with a diverse range of options to order. I particularly like the stir fries.

The Thai food here is pretty good here and perhaps one of the most authentic Thai restaurants in the area. The service is very good and the service is fast. My favourite dish is the cashew nut noodle with chicken.

Today was the boss's birthday, so instead of the brown-paper bagged lunch for me, off to Thai we went. Put simply, Thai is a brilliant cuisine and Bai Bua honours the code of offering delicious food.

What I liked from the start was that we had one server who managed our group of nearly 15 people. I find it irksome when you have 3 waitpersons attending one table of two (personal quibble). Our server dealt with our orders efficiently, got our drinks promptly and the food came out in record time.

I started with the Black Pepper Stir Fry with chicken. This was a great dish where the chicken was cooked perfectly, the sauce was amazing and the plate wasn't too dense or oily. The green curry with chicken was mild, great for those who have a delicate palate. Drunken noodles next – not my favourite as it was too sweet for my liking, but I could appreciate that it was cooked perfectly.

The beef mussaman curry was probably my favourite – the flavours were perfectly balanced and the beef was tender, breaking away so easily. The sizzling chicken, once you get over its awesomely noisy effect, tastes fresh and lightly spicy. The rice was a perfect balance, light and fluffy. For the low prices, the dishes were fantastically portioned and large enough to share amongst 5 or 6 people.

Cue the food coma.

The atmosphere here is relaxed (and they played George Michael!), the service was friendly, the food was amazing and I didn't have to take out a second mortgage on my house to pay the bill. Bai Bua is definitely a place I'll return to soon. My faith in Penrith eateries is slowly but surely being restored.

This is my favorite Thai in the area. I love their Penang Beef and the Pad See Ewe. The service is good, though they can get very busy. The food is very fresh and tasty. It is priced just right and is great value for the qualty.

Just yesterday we had lunch at Bai Bua and we loved it. Great taste, quick service, decent price, nice and cosy place. We had two lunch specials and the portions were pretty generous. We recommend it to the others with the pleasure.

Went to Bai Bua for New Years one year. Was a great experience and would recommend Bai Bua for a great place to eat in Penrith.

The place first on our minds when it comes to celebrating any function. Food is always excellent and the staff are lovely - in our case they always give a 'oh I remember you, welcome back!' smile and greeting
Try it out and you won't regret!!

We have been visiting this local Thai restaurant for several months now and become familiar with the owner Joy, each time we go in their she will happily make us a traditional Thai dish (which is not always on the menu). We have never left their disappointed but rather excited about our new food experiences.

Highly recommend to any Thai lovers.

This is a really nice Thais restaurant that offers most of the usual suspects! Portions are generous and the flavours really pack a punch. I am a great fan of Pad Thai with duck! The beef salad is also very yummy, and the coconut desserts are a great way to finish the night with :-)
