I have been seeing Chiropractors for most of life (about 40 years) and have been regular chiropractic care at Back in Balance Chiropractic for the last 10years. I love Chiropractic and it has assisted me to stay well fit and healthy. The Chiropractors at Back in Balance Chiropractic have always been very caring and are always studying something new to help everyone there. The team is supportiv and friendly, I highly recommend this clinic.

These guys saved my life.

7 years ago I was living with disabling pain before a friend referred me to Back in Balance. Within 3 months I was able to manage my condition and after 9 months I was pain-free. Have been that way now for over 6 years. (Except for when I go on my extended holidays to Bali.... hehe)

Thank you for giving me my life back.

I was delighted to read your review, it is good to hear that they were able to help you. For me the difference in result between what 10 minutes of cracking comparing to my what my Physio achieves is amasing. But as I said everyone is different and I wish you the best for a pain free life and hope you get many more years of great service. After going through six weeks of hell after an adjustment that went wrong, I would not go back for anything.

The only positives are that the rooms are nice and clean and reception staff friendly and helpful. However, after several chiropractic treatments I ended up with a very nasty rib injury after a painful adjustment. Six weeks on I am only just starting to get over the injury and almost back to how I was before the appointment. Once injured, follow up was very poor and the Chiropractor was totally dismissive. Dr Michele Martin (who has since moved on from this business and is now working elsewhere) left a voice message stating that the force she used could not have caused the injury as I had advised, even though she knew at the time of the appointment that she had hurt me. This did nothing other than cause me upset when I was already injured. Pretty special really. A little hard to take from a person who is supposed to be in a helping/caring profession and with whom I had trusted my well being with.

I have been going to Chiropractors since the age of 15 (so around 23 years) for treatment of headaches and tight neck (not sure what adjusting ribs has to do with that). In 23 years I had never experienced anything like the injury and response that I was blessed with from this chiropractor. The only good thing about it was the fact that it was my ribs that were injured and not my neck or back.

I now see an awesome Physio elsewhere, standard appointments are 30 minutes, instead of 6 to 10 minutes treatment at BIB. My Physio includes warming muscles up, stretching, massage and then manual adjustments if required. It is a personal choice and everyone is different however, based on my experience and injury, I would never return to Back In Balance or seek treatment from this chiropractor again as there are much better options out there for me. After several visits to my physio my neck is the best it has felt in years and they have assisted healing my chiropractic injury. My Physio even got his staff to call me after each appointment to ensure I was going well, very nice.

I am extremely grateful to my Physio for their professional, caring and helpful response to me, it has restored my faith that there are still people who care out there. It is just a shame I had to go elsewhere to get treatment that I really needed. However, going elsewhere was a much better option then the risk of paying for the privilege of being injured again. I certainly was taught a lesson the hard way.

I have been a patient at Back in Balance for the last 7 years and have been extremely happy with the level of care and treatment I've received during this time. I used to suffer from extreme back and neck pain, but now the only time I ever get pain is when I'm on holidays and I miss my on-going treatment at Back in Balance.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience but I just can't relate.

I wouldn't be going anywhere else.

BTW I'm sure you're aware that chiros and physios work on different things - 20 minutes of lying on a hot water bottle, I just find that annoying.

I am delighted to hear that they were able to look after you and help you achieve a pain free life.

My Physio does a lot more than just use hot water bottles and as you say Physios do different things. After going through 6 weeks of pain from an adjustment that went wrong I would never return to Back in Balance and my Physio was utilised to help overcome this injury and ended up treating my neck as well. I hope they continue to help you and you maintain a pain free life and that you enjoy many more years of great service at Back In Balance. All the best.
