These guys are fantastic. I dealt with Marcus. He's very nice to deal with and he knows what he's talking about. I couldn't be happier with the customer service I received from him and my car is an absolute dream at a great price. I highly recommend Dandenong automobiles to anyone after a great car

Approximate cost: $30

Let me start by saying there's nothing wrong with the car, they didn't sell me a lemon it's been great so far, 20,000ks and its only needed a battery replacement.

I am quite displeased however, as part of the deal I was offered my first service free, which only recently I have found out coincided with my major service at 90,000ks, my car has now done 100,000ks and I have found that that all the other major service items were not done but they still stamped my log book for the 90,000k service.

I ended up having to call them to find out that it's only the basic service they offer, although it says in my contract that first service is free and there are no other conditions mentioned.

I called automobiles Dandenong to try remedy the issue and spoke to the owner of the business, I explained my problem, that they had stamped my book for the 90,000k service but only a basic service was done and that all the other items were now 10,000ks overdue and no one mentioned any of this to me, or even said that a full service wasn't covered and I would have to make up the difference, instead nothing at all was done.

The Owner mentioned to me that next time at 100,000ks the full service would have been done even though some items by that stage were already 10,000ks overdue. I asked him what if I sold the car? What if I moved or decided to get it serviced at Ford for now on, everybody would assume that that the 90,000k service was completed by you, potentially leaving some items not even touched for another 50,000 km, without so much as an apology for this mishap, he refused to address my point and kept up a sales spiel about their great service, which I clearly wasn't receiving, and how happy all their clients are.

After going around in circles for a while I told him that I would get the service items addressed elsewhere and given his complete indifference to my situation would be writing a review on the internet, he then accused me of trying to blackmail him even though I never asked for anything I just wanted an explanation, and at that point I hung up the phone.

Some things worth mentioning, although im not surprised when purchasing the vehicle the cheapest brakes and tyres were fitted, with a moto like “for the service you deserve” it would have been nice to at least not have the cheapest of everything fitted.

I've bought a car here before and they provide pretty good service towards the customers. The mechanics here are also top class, once, there was a problem with the spark plugs and they fixed it, no problem.

I have been going to these mechanics for the past 8-10 years ever since buying a car from them. Their mechanics are top notch and would never go anywhere else. I broke down with a cam belt snapped and the boss came and picked me up as well as towing me to the shop - Thats customer service at its peak
