I have never been more disappointed with so called experts than now !
The Manager of Auto masters Subiaco wrongfully diagnosed or car then actually blamed me for suggesting what may have been the cause !
I am not the mechanic and yes, agreed to what the manager at Auto Masters Subiaco suggested !
$3000 later he tells me the car needs a new engine but the franchise owner happy to clear the bill if I give him the car !!!! This is when I hear alarm bells !!
$ 3 K a lot to find in these times so wife and I had to hire a car whilst paying this off and trying to think is it worth putting a new engine in, do we trust this business also ?
I decided to seek a second opinion which I rang and asked advice !
He said get it towed to him and he would give me his honest opinion !!!
24 hrs later when he told us it was repairable and didn’t need a new engine and as well didn’t need all the work that I had just paid nearly 3K for.
I should not have had to hire a car for 6 weeks !!!!

Our car is now home and running well, and I am happy to share who did the professional work, that yes,did cost us $1000 and 3 days.
The result of a misdiagnosis cost us dearly in these tough times, $6000 dearly !!!
Beware , we are not “all in this together” as the catch phrase goes.
This should not be a buyer beware trade and lack of remorse from Auto Masters Subiaco company shows us another side to them,of lack of professionalism in solving our total dissatisfaction !
That the company allows this to happen at all is beyond me. Their marketing is certainly not true and correct!
Happy to give my name

I don't know about these guys. They seem good as mechanics, but are also keen to sell you new parts. They advised me to completely recondition my engine, and wanted to replace a lot of parts. Their advice would have costed me $4,500.
I went somewhere else for a second opinion and the other mechanics a) didn't consider it necessary to replace all the parts and b) could replace those parts for a lot less money.

All in all: a good mechanic, but pretty dear. Go there if you have plenty of cash, are attached to your car and want to keep it in top-notch shape.

Approximate cost: $1685
