10 reviews about Australian Cinemas

Cheap movies and hardly any other patrons...why would you go anywhere else? It's clean and the staff are always friendly.

Approximate cost: $10

This cinema makes going the movies for families affordable. They specialise in children's movies mostly and have the lowest prices around. The cinemas are clean and the quality of the viewing experience is great. A must for any family.

Approximate cost: $7.00

While the sound quality, seats, and restrooms leave a little to be desired, their prices are great. On discount Tuesdays, adults pay only $8, while it's still only $10 any other night. I'd much rather pay $8-10 to a local independent cinema, than $17 to one of the bigger cinemas that tell me I have to sit in my assigned seat. Oh, they have nice ice creams too.

Approximate cost: $8-10

We often go to the Croydon cinemas. Cheap tickets, great value and close to home. Definitely recommend to anyone (or group) who want to go out to the movies for a cheap day/night.

nice cheap cinema, not a huge screen but it is plenty big enough. This is great value and shows all the latest releases. It's a great place to take a group as it doesn't cost lots.

Disgraceful, extremely small theatre, no directions where to pay, staff and Management need customer service training immediately. The Manager who was working on the 23/01/2010 is very rude and needs to pick up a dictionary and find the meaning of abusive. My daughter, auntie, grandmother and myself was told to leave because the manager overheard a conversation with another customer to me, stating the cinema changes its rules all time and they never know where to pay. The manager shouted across the room at this woman and I mentioned that we were only discussing that you need more signage to advise the customer were to pay etc. my response from him was to get out, I asked for an explanation why, he raised his eyebrows and said I was abusive and to get out. I was in shock, we asked for our money back, for which he reponded by putting his hand over the till and stating "NO" after realising that we wer all together and my mother demanding her money back. He provided the money. Shocking, we ended up going to Eastland and saw a movie there. They also provide adequate signage.

Approximate cost: $29.10

Films are great, good value of the money and close to the other shops. Sometimes it gets very busy and slow but theyre trying their best to serve their customers well. But outside chips and drinks are not allowed though , so if they could see you holding drinks and chips when you buy the tickets they will ask you to leave the chips in their counter and get it after the movie .

or they tell you to get out, no refund either and the movie hasn't even started. Dodgy!! especially when the last time you went there there was no SIGNAGE!

Australian cinemas croydon is fantastic. All current movies are available to watch, all at unbelievably cheap prices. Although the cinema is a bit dated, it's very good quality and it's amazing value for money. Highly recommended if you want to see a movie for an affordable price!

Great value, affordable for the whole family and reminds me of being a kid, not many things stay open within the community. Great service and selection of movies. Great candy bar that is also affordable.

The candy bar is soooo small, no a wide selection. I thought it was terrible

This place may not exactly roll out the red carpet for your 'movie experience', but for great value there's no better place to go. It's about half the price (or less) than most other cinemas. From time to time we have wanted to see a movie that they haven't been showing, so we go elsewhere, but this is always our first port of call when we want to see a movie.

Approximate cost: $4.50 - 6.50
