Definitely a great place to shop if your looking to buy in bulk which is what we do and freeze it when we get home. I personally find the mince a little fattier than the supermarket kind. I love the fact we can get small chickens for roasting for $10. You need to shop smart as they arent always cheaper than the supermarket but most things are. You have access to a generous parking lot at the Kings Meadows woolworths site

The quality of meats has always been exceptional, the meat is fresh and full of flavor. I dont find the staff to be amazing at customer service, the store is always clean and the staff are pleasant enough once reaching the register but rarely aknowledge you otherwise. The one thing I personally dont like about the Kings Meadows location is the fact alot of the meat is pre-packaged (like you see on the shelves of a supermarket)

i am a satisfeild and regular customer to discount meats i have been buying my meat from them for the last 10 years and have never had any problems with their meat its always tender and fresh the butcher is close by if u need advice , andprices suit my budget so i will continue to shop there the check out ladies are very helpfull

I use to shop here on a regular basis when living in kings Meadows. They are one of the cheapest butchers around launceston. the only meat i wouldnt buy from there is the sides of lamb as i have always found it to be rather chewy. Other than that i have never had a problem with their other meat. We use to buy a heap of their peppered steaks as they were really cheap. From what i can remember it was around $2 a piece. What i liked the most about it was that when you walked in it was really cold in there so you knew there was no way your meat could get hot and go off. I did find that store did look dirty as it had concrete floors but that could be because people had walked in with dirty shoes on before i got there.

Not the best butchery that i have bought meat from but they are cheap enough. they sell bulk meats at a discount price. The staff arent very helpful & the shop has a very strong meat smell which i dont like but its to be expected from a butchery & it looks dirty
