Our Labradoodle has been going to Doggy Day care at least twice a week for the last 5 1/2 years, and everytime we go on holidays he stays at Appy. I can honestly say there is always plenty of water in the runs and kennels. I think in the whole time I have arrived there (usually around 7.30-8.00am) the dogs are out playing and the kennels have been or are being cleaned. When I pick him up, usually around 5.30pm they are still out playing unless it is pouring with rain or far too hot to be outside running around. The kennels have a spraymist cooling system which on hot days is on to cool the kennels down. Some people need to realise that dogs will be dogs and sometimes hump each other, Our dog spins circles at the door when he realises he is going to play, all we have to say is day care and he is there waiting. He loves going there and we have never had a problem with the staff, maybe thats because I have never been rude to them and if we pick our dog up early we pay for the days/nights we had him booked in for, after all it is a business and if you have booked the kennels for x amount of nights then others have probably been turned away.The kennels are never overcrowded, as even with long time customers, day care is cancelled during school holidays etc. Get you facts straight before saying incorrect facts.

I am disgusted that people can state untrue facts like this on the Internet. We have used Appy Kennels for the last 6 years, we have 4 Rhodesian Ridgebacks and have NEVER had a single issue. We have turned up early and more often than not late, it has never been a problem, the staff there are always accommodating. If you turned up 4 days early then of course you would have to pay for the extra days!!!!! You signed a contract that states exactly that!!!! We travel 5 hours to put our dogs in these kennels, that alone tells you just how fantastic Appy Kennels really is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been taking our dogs to Appy Kennels and Creche for 4 years - in fact they are there now! I am extremely happy with the service Judith provides and the dogs just love it there. The kennels are spacious, and the outdoor areas are huge - the biggest I have seen. Judith is incredibly dedicated to all the dogs that stay with her, I always recommend her kennels to anyone with dogs. I always know the dogs have had a good time as they sleep for a couple days afterwards! So much running around and socializing tires them out :-) I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. Thank you Judith for always taking care of our kids, and for your tireless dedication to all the pooches in your care.

Well didn't actually get the chance to stay cos I own a staffy x bullmastiff. I put him down on the application as a staffy x cos he's small (if I say bullmastiff people try to charge me for a huge dog). Got told they don't take staffys as they are "unpredictable". My dog has been socialised since I got him at 6 weeks old and has the dopey gentle personality of a bullmastiff. Had I said he was a bullmastiff x there would have been no problem! Absolutely pathetic stereotyping without even meeting my dog. The email reply I got was rude and i was quite put back by the way i was spoken to simply because I have a particular cross breed of dog. Won't be bothering even trying to put my Labrador in.

Just been to collect our boy Rex from a 5 week stay with Judith and as usual he is busy playing and having a great time when we arrive. Rex has been to 'Appy Kennels many times and is always eager to go back. He is so well looked after when there that I have no hesitation in leaving him even though he is a 'sensitive soul' and usually doesn't like to be out of our sight. As soon as the car turns in to Crufts Way his tail starts to wag and he can't wait to get there! If you want somewhere to leave your precious pooch without having to worry at all then this is the place to choose. Clean, cool in summer, good food and plenty of love and care, what more could you or your pet ask for?

we have been taking our dog there 4 over a year and our dog loves going there, , she has baths regualy and we have never had any problems,and we will keep taking her there, cause she enjoys going :)
