They have lost my parcel from Adelaide to Melbourne its been 5 weeks and no 1 knows what the he'll is going on?

I rang APD to get a quote to ship a guitar from Adelaide to Queensland. Was quoted a price $91 ....based on approx weight & dimensions .... after packaging the guitar & being very close to the actual package size & weight..
(1kg heavier) & 2 cm wider in width the actual charge went up to $145.62 ....
Despite me showing the lady my emailed $91 quote .... she insisted I pay the $145 or go somewhere else......
Not very professional in my opinion & I would NOT recommend them to anyone else based on my experience.

One of the worst courier services I have ever used. Goods were missing on arrival management had no idea on how to handle my complaints.

I have been using APD for over 5 years as my preferred business courier and I am very satisfied. Courier drivers are really friendly, pickups occur on time and the computersed phone system works fine. I use APD every day and never had a parcel go missing.

I just had to write a review for APD. Firstly, i can not believe the other 2 reviews, they are at complete variance to my experience. Anyways, this time around, they have quoted me a unbelievable low amount to deliver 3 large parcels to Brisbane from Adelaide. These parcels have been sitting in my front room due to an irresponsible housemate for 7 months. He was quoted $300 or more, and said he could not afford it at that time. I wish I had called APD there and then! I was just quoted $115. I could have gotten rid of the offending boxes (believe me, they have been offending me!), months ago. I LOVE APD!!! I feel like I just got an early Xmas present! This is not the first time i have used their services. Last time i needed to get a mobility scooter shipped from an address in Melbourne to me in Adelaide. The person i had bought it off of did not have it ready to ship when APD went to pick it up, so they returned the following day. She still did not have it ready, so they returned for a third time. This time it was again not ready.... So the APD courier dismantled the scooter into its 5 sections, wrapped it in bubble wrap themselves, and did all the addressing! All of that for the Price of $60.00, yep, just $60.00. Some of the parts weighed 22 kilo, down to 11 kilo. All 5 parcels wrapped by the couriers, and delivered with a smile to my door, for the price of $60. I think that is B.. Amazing. But that is just my opinion :)

Crappiest delivery service ever...they make no arrangements for a time to deliver (ie a phone call) then charge a redelivery fee

not relaiable, put peole on wait for too long, and not much help at the end.
