I'd like to thank you all for your support and wonderful service when we needed a new computer really quickly. I cannot imagine we would/could have got any better service or helpfulness anywhere and without additional stress. It has meant such a lot to know that Emma will have a computer over Christmas and New Year. Thank you Leesa for your help and advise over the phone and to the people involved in setting the computer up a HUGE thank you.

I hope you ALL have a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are able to relax and enjoy it… knowing especially that you have made a REAL difference to someone's life.

Geoff and Toby, I am so grateful for the Kira. (Toshiba's ultra-light 13.3” Ultrabook)
I could not believe your advice at the time last September but I confessed to having the money and I have been blessed by the Kira ever since.
It is almost like being at the optician and being told that I need new spectacles and this is the prescription and you pay up now.
So thanks again for your advice and help.

After hearing radio adds I thought I'd get in touch with these guys to fix my wifes laptop when it started playing up, turns out it was just a simple memory issue and the fixed it promptly at a reasonable price. Will definitely consider using them again in the future

I wasn't wowed by these guys despite hearing catchy radio adds, they seemed not overly interested in my PC repair as it wasn't a big costing job. Perhaps if I was going to spend more money in store they would have considered talking to me more

I was put in touch with these guys when I needed a warranty repair on my Toshiba netbook computer. Unfortunately these guys seems to be Tasmania's only authorised Toshiba repairer.

My initial contact seemed positive, friendly response and captured some details before telling me I'd get a call back in 15-20 mins to get more information (not sure why it couldn't have been captured on that first call but I guess they have their processes).

2 hours later I still had not received the promised phonecall back so I rang them again. After playing the blame game, they grabbed the details they needed, provided me with some information and then left it at that.

Due to illness, I realised I wasn't going to be available at the location I'd advised for the courier to pick up the device, so I phoned them to make alternative arrangements. Through the course of this conversation it was discovered that I had not been given all the information I would have needed for the courier (frustrating) so I requested that the information I needed be emailed to me.

I'm still waiting for the promised email more than 36 hours later.

I have since contacted Toshiba and have arranged to have the device shipped to a repair agent in Victoria instead.

If I can't rely on these guys to follow up on simple customer service promises like phonecalls and emails, then how can I trust them to fix my computer???

I can't comment on the quality of their workmanship, nor their pricing, as based on their appalling service, they will never get the opportunity to service me as a customer again.

Hi Sparkesy, while living in Tasmania may have its benefits, it appears to have its negatives too. While your experience with this particular service agent was clearly less than optimal, it was courteous of Toshiba to arrange to have the item shipped interstate, even though this should not have been necessary in the first place. Either way, I hope your Toshiba notebook has been adequately repaired and going strong. Regards, Reeces
