I'll give it's good food, but there are many other places that could serve the same or similar thing at half the price.
So I'm going to say give this one a miss until they revise their prices

We went to Andre's Cucina for dinner on a Saturday night. They were busy and sat a full house over two different seating times, so book if you want to get a table on a weekend. We chose their chef's choice 5 course "Menu Fisso", which was $62 each. It began with their Angus Carpaccio. This. was. delicious. Tender and beautifully thinly sliced beef, which paired perfectly with the truffle and crunchy cheesy crumb on top. Our second course was an Italian stringy cheese dish with caramelised and sweet capsicum and onion on top (sorry, forgot the Italian name!) It was delicious with crispy toasts. Our third course was a delicious beef ragout served with pillowy clouds of gnocchi. The ragout was so so so tasty, I would have happily eaten 5 courses of that! Our "main" course was an Italian seafood dish (again I can't remember the Italian name!) It consisted of a baked snapper fillet, mussels, and butterflied prawns served in a tomato sugo sauce. This was really yummy, however the prawns were slightly overcooked. With this we were served soft polenta with sauteed mushrooms, and a lettuce salad. Whilst the polenta with mushrooms didn't match particularly well with the seafood, it was delicious and creamy! By this time we were so full, and whilst the half hour wait before dessert was a bit long, it did mean we could actually fit it in! For dessert we were served the freely set pannacotta. This was a light and refreshing way to finish the meal. Our wait staff throughout the meal were friendly and very attentive, however by the time we finished our dessert, those staff were in the kitchen cleaning up. The waitress who attended to us at the end of the meal was not particularly attentive and this left us feeling a little annoyed. Coming from a hospitality background, I appreciate waiting whilst staff are racing around, seeing to all of their tables. I assure you, this was not the case here! When she cleared our dessert dishes, we thanked her, said we did not want any coffees, and asked if she could bring us the bill- she said of course. She then cleared up tables which were already empty, and 10 minutes later asked if she could get us anything else. We asked her if she could please just bring us the bill, to which she again said she would. She then saw to other tables (fine), and continued to wipe down the empty tables. 15 minutes later she brought us the bill. Everyone was very friendly, however this waiting when we could see what she was doing (and their were four other wait staff just polishing cutlery), became annoying.
Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable evening!

Great little restaurant, we had the menu fisso for $59 with 5 courses, the food was a little bit slow though and it took 2 hours for all of the food to come out, food was great though and definitely something to get your taste buds buzzing, a good place for a romantic night with a partner.

Amazing food, and great service. The "Menu Fisso" is a great choice, and allows you to try many dishes off the menu at an affordable price. Am always full when I leave! The restaurant can get a little noisy, but a small price to pay for fantastic food.

This Cucina has a great 'buzz' and ambiance. Staff are great and take time to explain the menu and specials board in great detail. We love to share several starters which come on wooden boards and are a great way to whet the appetite. If you love a steak don't miss out on theirs with balsamic and again served on a board. It can end up an expensive meal if you have several courses and wine, but well worth the experience. If you're a Masterchef fan, you'll remember Andre.
