Not great experience. id be reluctant to use them again.

The whole experience was average. The hire place is too far from the airport and the shuttle buses driving you to the car hire place are to infrequent. Also Alpha seems unorganised as they left it to the last minute to tell us that we had to send them scanned images of our drivers licence and MasterCard.

Hired a car for 2 days while in Brisbane. Cheapest prices by far and car was perfect. Free shuttle is handy and there was one already waiting at the airport when we arrived, we literally walked straight out of the terminal and hopped into the bus. Only problem we experienced was getting someone to answer the phone when we called with a query - had to ring the office a few times before someone finally answered the phone. Overall, we were very happy with the car, price and service.

I started using them for corporate car hie about a year ago. Our clients seem quite happy with the cars and there've been no mechanical problems at all... the reason we went away from the big dealers in the first place. Cars are always spotless and at reasonable rates, too.

If you're moving house, forget expensive moving companies. If you can do it all yourself, your best bet is to hire a truck for a day from Alpha Car Hire. They were only $110/day for a huge truck with handy Pantec lift. We saved heaps of money moving house this way. We ordered our truck online from their easy to use website and the service was very good. Be sure to read and understand all options, fees, services etc and there won't be any surprises. They were the cheapest I found in a hurry and we'll return again.

Whilst in Queensland we hired from Alpha car rentals twice. Once at the start of our holidays and once at the end of our holidays. The company provided a shuttle from the airport to take us to the hire location. We were given firstly a Nissan Tiida which was very satisfactory for what we needed. Then after filling in a survey and getting a $20 discount we were automatically upgraded to a 4WD without any extra cost. Fantastic.
