Easy to find and easy to get to via bus, nicely decorated and friendly service that is genuine. Food is beautiful and tasty. Prices are great.

Wow!! Rarely do you ever find a restaurant that delivers an A+ across all details. Upon first arrival. We were given!! Yes it was free. a tasty sample sized platter of 4 types of flavoured almonds. Then followed the superb choices of Syrian dishes from entree mains through to desserts!! Tasty and fresh. Tony and the staff were friendly even while we took ages to choose from the large menu choices. The cocktails were amazing. My recommendation is the habibi for a Syrian drink tummy. Thank you well be back to try more.

A beautiful restaurant with excellent food - especially the falaffels - and perfect for meeting a group of friends and sharing food. The ambience is wonderful and service is unbeatable, my water glass must have been filled 15 times!

Lovely ambience and you will get to experience new foods and tastes. Almond Bar is not just your average Middle-eastern restaurant, even though you will find traditional dishes such as hommous. Run by two Syrian sisters, you will get to try some great new dishes that I don't know if you'll find anywhere else - like Za'a tar, a dip made from oregano, sumac, sesame seed and sea salt, or Fattoush, a grilled pita bread with cucumber, tomato, capsicum, lettuce, garlic and sumac.

Approximate cost: $10-$15
